Writing about fashion. Writing about other things. Zoë not Zelda. She/her.
"Why didn't you report the assault immediately?" Well, have you met our criminal justice system? And the backlog of rape kits? Or the fact the many people assume that women are lying about sexual assault. Or even having a single drink makes the woman seemingly at fault for what happens.

Do I now want France to win so Mbappé can ruin the life of that awful Paraguayan politician who was spewing racism? Maybe.

Forgot to put out this PSA before the tournament. If you're over 35, do not look up the players you don't know on Wikipedia because you'll feel like you have one foot in the grave.

You know who I miss? Nkunku. He was great before he got broken at Chelsea. And his goal celebration where he blew up a balloon because his small child liked it was so sweet.

I'm not shocked that Balogun is starting because if you can start him you do, but it all feels very gross. Not Balogun's fault at all. Don't blame him for the corrupt intervention of a man who would be mad that he's a US citizen.

One of the things I've been doing in my football group text because I love sports but understand that there is a dark side to many of them is keeping the group text abreast of the multiple players in this World Cup who have been accused of or charged of sexual assault and rape.
