"The world of lentils" Dear God. How pompous and didactic. Is there any other conceivable world to choose from? Lentils are now grown in the UK and are an excellent source of cheap protein and fibre. They can also be made into pasta and be used in sausages, burgers, stews and dahls.

when I commuted Dublin-Dundalk c.2000 there were a LOT of delays to trains coming down from Belfast for the journey home, so they'd send us to the pub opposite Dundalk station and then ring them when the train was coming - the barman would yell and we'd all dash back just in time 😆
