Learning Godot's UI system with a separate learning project. Took @indiegameclinic.bsky.social's advice from a video and made a UI Tamagotchi game. Godot's UI is a little bit confusing, but their system makes sense once you get the hang of it... Which I have not gotten the hang of yet! #GameDev

When the player first starts up a game, why do a lot of games ask the player to first press a button or to click to get started, before giving the player the full main menu options?

Archons is unironically probably one of the most underrated survivors-like games I think I've ever played, and probably some of the best sfx design tied to rhythmic gameplay as well.

Mario Kart World's has been one of the best backgeound Mario soundtracks that's ever come out imo. Its so insane how much musical content is in the game, and how easy it is to just it in the background for HOURS on end.

Meet Squarsh: One-half of a bigger enemy that will be introduced later into development. This enemy jumps at quarter-note rhythms... But with its other half, it creates the illusion of jumping at eighth-note intervals! #GameDev #IndieGameDev #IndieDev #IndieGames #Art #PixelArt
