Dot 5 P: sweet honey glazed ham, my local butcher black treacle bacon, BBQ smoker with sticky ribs. Sweet and smokey. Not my usual style but bu**er me this is good. It's all the meaty, sweet and savoury you could want but even better that it's by the sea. Briny salt. #BlindDrams

Dot 5: "golden brown". N: here it is the "smoke on the water". Iodine, hospital corridors. Deep heat. Dirty dirty dram this. Kippers smoked on a beach fire. #BlindDrams

Dot 4 P: I find it a little challenging, a bit Radiohead amnesiac is it was an album. It's very dusty cupboard, but with something sweet too. Like searching in my grans larder for biscuits. Malted milks. Still something red apple too. Another hot and spicy edge. Sensing a theme. #BlindDrams

Dot 4: old gold. N: got to say my first impression is Philadelphia. Is this the cheesy track of the night? Not sure where that came from. Then its Quaker oats. Thatchers Stans big apple cider. Dusty garage funk, wd40 (in a good way). #BlindDrams

#BlindDrams 3 - Really liked the nose. Palate is approaching feral. I'll split it down the middle - scores a 2

Dot 3 F: again the sweetness drops off and the spicy pepper nature is the lasting impression. Its interesting, and goes in a few different directions. It's a 3 once again here. #BlindDrams

Id say so far the spicy nature of these is a real standout. Could the 60's be the abv? Surely not. #BlindDrams

Dot 3 P: all about that red! Red toffee apple, the jams still in there, summer fruits squash. Cherry loaf cake. Some spices again here with white pepper standing out. #BlindDrams

Dot 3: bronze turkey (it is Xmas after all). N: sea salt and balsamic glaze. Jammy, strawberry jelly penny sweets. A bit meaty maybe - treacle bacon? #BlindDrams

Dot 2 F: a bit like dram 1 the slices kind of come to the fore at the end, some Thai 7 spice. Some "hot stuff" for sure but the finish let's it down a point for me. 3 is the magic number here. #BlindDrams

Dot 2 P: woah there, great arrival. Mild chilli Chocolate covered fudge, maple syrup (PX?) furniture polish on oak - remind me in a way of my old school hall. Maybe a slight sour note there. White port. Not bad this. #BlindDrams

Dot 2 mid gold. N: initially I'm not getting much at all, quite restrained. Some red apple peel creeping in. Then, some mild butterscotch angel delight, Rio drink, some wood in the background. #BlindDrams

Dot 1 F: despite the early sweetness, this dram takes a spicy turn and then a bitter finish. Aperol, green hops, gives the tongue a wake up call. Scores a 2. All in all something of a "bittersweet symphony" for me, but can the next dram "beat it"? #BlindDrams

Dot 1 P: starts of cupcakes with buttercream, sharp pineapple, some acetone, thyme, cayenne pepper coming in later. #BlindDrams

Dot 1: pale straw. Nose: I get lemon drizzle cake, tom thumb drops some powdered sugar. Not too prickly. #BlindDrams

Dram 5: little spicy on the finish bit it's a decent dram. Id go for a 3.

Dram 5 P: sel de guerande, vanilla, baked apple pie, coal and steam as if you could taste a steam train passing, lightly honeyed but quite austere. Decent. #pswhisky

Dram 5 and it's the father, the valfather. Amber. Nose: fruity like the syrup in a can of the old timey fruit salad cans we had for desert in the 80's/90's. Green apples, with cinder toffee. Oakey bonfire. #pswhisky

Dram 4 finish: just a nice puff of smoke and honey to round it off. It's a solid 4 for me. #pswhisky

Dram 4 P: really like this. It's got the fine mild smoke I love, and some honey sweetness to back it up. Golden syrup again, and honeycomb. #pswhisky

Dram 4: Valknut. Gold. More as I remember the hp of old. Manuka honey, caramel, floral smoke, custard, wet heather on the moors, sezhuan pepper corns maybe and all spice. #pswhisky
