I spoke to a few accessibility peers about role levels in our field and my take ways are: -Accessibility doesn't map to tech seniority levels well -Principal A11y roles don't work well in the IC track -It's difficult to communicate knowledge levels in this space -This is all capitalistic bullshit

on a call w/ my Republican mother I was complaining about the size of our loaner minivan. she said if we "threw some kids in there" we'd understand how nice the size is. In an hour I'll be having a potentially life changing procedure called Prolotherapy. Because of my hEDS, the connective tissue in my spine doesn't hold it in place. To stabilize it they'll be injecting sugar there to create an inflammation reaction to make scar tissue. Accepting all positive vibes!

This is an excellent analogy, because my recollection from grade school is that the pen on the right looks fun and exciting, and then you play with it for a few minutes and realize it's not actually useful for anything and in fact makes some tasks more cumbersome, and never think about it again.

Can anyone with experience in #OBSStudio help me? My "view scene area" is bugged. I can only see a tiny corner of my scenes, regardless of what one I select or how I view it. I have hard uninstalled (deleting all my scenes) and it didn't fix it. All drivers are up to date too. Help! @obsproject.com

as a late diagnosed autistic adult seeing the # of diagnosed kids go up makes me happy because that means they'll be less adults like me who had to learn they were autistic because of absolutely soul crushing autistic burnout. with resources and support I'm sure I could have avoided the worst of it.
