Flying into Dallas. After this photo, as I crossed into suburbs, I noticed that the backyard pools are not enclosed. I guess less bugs (or maybe the no gators!) than Florida, or less care about them anyway.

We walked 5 miles today on trails through Winter Garden and Oakland. Learned we shouldn’t entice alligators. Although we were enticed at DG on the way home.

Started our Hawaii trip in Oahu at #Aulani. The hotel was very nice with theming and details. We stayed with friends in a suite. Shared living space was nice as were our bedrooms. Employees were all friendly and nice service. Lazy River was delightful. Biggest wish was the pool stayed open past 8pm.

Checked out Disney’s Wilderness Preserve in Poinciana,FL yesterday. Recommend a visit… it was chill, quiet, miles of trails (different options), migratory birds, toads, and plenty of evidence of beasts.

Watching Garfield Christmas and I am entertained with how we start out in Garfield’s dream, which includes a giant candle plugged into an outlet with way too many other plugs/outlets. Nice needless detail.

I would love to know how Xanadu came to be. Guess I’ll go down that rabbit hole. Number of thoughts on this film, although simply stated: I liked it. And damn, it reminded me how roller skating is fun. I have roller skates in my amazon cart now. Do I buy them?

Watching Swing Time on TCM and Fred and Ginger are a delight to watch dance. They look so light on their feet.
