I read Roadside Picnic by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky over the weekend, and Boris' afterword about the difficulties in getting this wonderfully bleak, science fiction horror novel published in the late Soviet era tells us that moral panic over fiction hasn't changed.

Gave someone some notes on Russian pronunciation for their audiobook narrator today. It was fun!
