I just don't think a program can support consciousness on its own, it would have to be like several computers acting as different parts of a brain, and the computer itself would be able to manipulate its own code so that it can change and form its own opinions based on data.

I don't think computer consciousness will sprout from AI tho. Like AI just mimics human output, but it doesn't actually think, it's got no soul behind the output.

Listen when computers start actually having thought and consciousness, that computer is a person now. Whether that is possible? Totally different question, we alredy have a hard time defining consciousness for Humans.

I don't read, and yet I am still annoyed by students who don't read their emails all the way through. To be fair I work in Financial aid, and a lot of the emails contain very important information! Don't skip out reading the fine print when it comes to loans you guys, please I am begging you.

I help undergraduate and graduate students understand their financial aid, and although both groups usually don't understand financial aid, the Graduate students will think they do! And then they are completely wrong! It takes more time to help them because I have to disprove their thoughts
