Anyone in Los Angeles need a sewing machine? It's about 10 years old and pretty basic but totally functional and, best of all, FREE.

I'm making a quilt for my boyfriend. I think picking out the fabric is my favorite part. But I bought a new sewing machine that should arrive today so I'm pretty excited about that too.

I’ve started using a parasol, which you can just call a sun umbrella or sunbrella if you like, and let me tell you it fucking helps. Everyone should do this. They make basic non-lacy colors so you don’t have to look like a goth or dandy if you don’t want to BUT you absolutely can.

I've been working on a new print. It's the first time I've really let the image develop as I was creating it & then revise/recreate. It's grim, a bit unhinged. It will be hard to share bc I don't want people to think it's literal or about me. But I really like it & I may just let myself get dark.

I wish I had room for a bird at my place now. I miss having a chirpy little guy sing to me. And Delilah has no interest in chasing anything so I think I could do it safely. I might have to make room. Just a small little guy.

Delilah and I are taking a road trip to vegas for my son's wedding this week. While looking for dog friendly hotels I found that a nice big house with a pool was cheaper on air bnb. She has not been in a pool as far as I know so I'm pretty excited about this.
