MONDAY A disappointing day overall with plenty of cloud about and just a few bright spells here and there especially in the north. Light winds once again, so if you do see any bright spells or sunshine it will be pleasant. Max 15°C Min 11°C

Make the most of Sunday's sunshine. Most of next week looks to be lacking in sunshine (maybe some inversions) and dry as the high pressure traps in a lot of cloud.

SUNDAY A sunny start once any mist or fog clears. Again a dry day with variable amounts of cloud so predicting where the sunny spells are is tricky. Pleasant in any sunshine with light winds. Winds switch E'ly late-PM dragging in cloud overnight and keeping the temperatures up. Max 17°C Min 9°C

WEEKEND FORECAST SATURDAY Dry with some sunny spells but these most likely in the NE to SE parts of the region. Western areas could well see some stubborn cloud, which might not shift until later in the day. Light winds. Clear spells overnight leading to some areas of mist & fog. Max 16°C Min 5°C

FRIDAY Early cloud and the associated patchy rain and drizzle will sink away to the SE. Dry with variable amounts of cloud and a few bright spells for the rest of the day. Best of any brightness in the east. Breeze picking up. Max 15°C Min 7°C Max Gusts 20mph

WEDNESDAY Cloud moving SE then some bright or sunny spells early and late. Some stubborn cloud possible at times during the day since we have a feed off the Irish Sea. Breezy at times. Max 16°C Min 9°C Max Gusts 20mph

OUTLOOK 👀 High pressure in charge but some stubborn cloud at times, thick enough for some patchy drizzle, otherwise plenty of dry weather. Chance of a few inversions over the coming days and with a change in wind direction towards next week we should see more in the way of sunshine for a time.

MONDAY A cloudy morning with some patchy rain or drizzle, especially in the north. Bright spells arrive slowly for the afternoon and if you do see the sun it will feel pleasant as it will be warmer. Max 18°C Min 10°C

TUESDAY It should be a decent morning with plenty of sunny spells after a chilly start. Cloud will bubble up, late-morning and into the afternoon we can expect further cloud to spill in from the east spoiling the sunshine. Slight breeze. Warm in the sun. Max 16°C Min 8°C

MONDAY NIGHT Clear skies and with light winds it will turn chilly once again with a localised ground-frost. Min 2°C

SUNDAY NIGHT Clear skies and winds falling light. A cold night with a touch of ground-frost locally with a few rural spots getting close to freezing. Min 3°C

SUNDAY 📉 A much better day with sunny spells and just the odd shower. It'll be breezy which will make it feel particularly cool as the wind is sourced from the north. Cold overnight with a chance of a ground-frost in rural spots. Max 14°C Min 3°C

Western parts are under a warning for STRONG WINDS on Sunday and into Monday. Monday looks windier than Sunday. Not expecting anything severe, just gusts of up to 45-50mph which is not out of the ordinary. Plenty of further rain though, especially on Sunday.
