From October, the TTPA means most advertising platforms are banning "political ads" in EU. HOWEVER as far as I can tell, only Meta takes this to include "social" ads. Google & Microsoft are only banning election/legislation specific ads, not "social isses". Is this how we're all interpreting it?

Meta’s replacing fact-checkers with “community notes,” shifting moderation to users. It’s a political cop-out to avoid taking responsibility for the disinformation their platforms spread. Charities will bear the brunt of this shift—more hate, less trust, and bigger resource burdens. 🧵
