Reject the disposable fineliner, embrace the refillable technical pen. Losers will say you can't draw with a technical pen, but I say 'nuh uh' (I also use pliers to tear open fineliners and forcefully refill them, but I can't find where to buy empty cotton cores, so they get nasty)
