So good news I think.... last night I felt a bubbling in my right calf (where I have my blood clot), and today woken up with no aching/discomfort in my leg, I wonder if the clot has been removed - just a week after going on the meds! I'm in Hospital on Tuesday for another appointment, so 🤞

Watching the scenes in Whitehall on the news have given me a new task - get my Irish passport.

That's it now, I'm completed everything to be done, got all the outfits (that I could), all the weapons, mods, abilities and stuffs and yesterday, I got the final achievement, 100% baby! I'm talking about @remedygames.com 's excellent Control game. It's brilliant, engaging and just great to play.

Spent more hours yesterday at Hospital. I have a tiny little clot in my right calf at the bottom in a vein where the blood returns from my foot, of course, the official wording was a lot more flowery. So now on blood thinners and stuff, feeling terribly wiped out but I'm on the mend.

Spent the day in A&E after speaking to the Docs, possible blood clot in my right leg. Average wait today was 6 hours in Northern General, last night it was 8 hours 30 mins. Not seeing those waiting times going down even after a year. Anyway I'm on pills, and back in tomorrow for scans.

It's artists like Bisley and Fabry from @2000ad.bsky.social that really sold me Slaine, and I had to pick up all these reprints, even though I have a lot of the original comics and prints. Amazing work, really brings the story to life.

Very proud of my 18-year-old. Today she decided this morning to get on the train from Sheffield to Edinburgh to spend some time with her elder sister. Stressful it was, but it happened, and it's the first journey she's managed this way, without one of us being with her. Baby steps to independence
