I’ve just read Project Hail Mary and honestly I fucking wish we had xenolinguistics, the study of alien language. I wouldn’t even care about the aliens, I‘d just want to study their language. I so want to make a book titled “A Guide to Interstellar First Contact” that explores this idea.
