This is everything that I have left that isn't currently spoken for for a #crochet project. The dark and light purple at the top is in reserve because I'm making a sweater in those colours. I have a marked brown/black AND a purple sweater vest WIP, a throw blanket WIP, and a tapestry WIP. That's it!

Checking my (very depleted) yarn stash to see if I have enough of anything that isn't already spoken for to make a puff stitch garland. 👉👈 Someone should hire me to edit for them so I can buy more yarn.

Coffee and caffeinated beverages aren't helping. I need like three days of uninterrupted rejuvenating sleep... and like $250k.

Difficult days are just part of the process. I push through as much as I can and then do something to fill my well, creatively. Usually I'll read or watch a movie, sometimes play games. Often it's a sign that I need to do something physical so I make a point to exercise or go outside for a bit.

Hockey WIP: my MC, Tav's best friend Will plays for the rival team, his bestie on the team is the goalie, Connor, but Connor is literally everyone's bestie/little brother because he's just so lovable. The whole team is very close and they adore each other.

Hockey Romance WIP: revenge looks like winning the next game or doing a retaliatory hit/check during the game. However, one of the side MCs, Anatoly, would definitely do something outside of hockey but not illegal. A prank of some kind. And probably rope the goalies and Soren into it.

The Christmas Chocolatier is quite adorable, if a little predictable, but that's exactly what I want in a holiday romance. I crave the stability/predictability of a HEA and story beats that follow a certain pattern/logic. It's a comfort and stress-relief in a hectic time of year.

Basically, chop garlic and sweat it a little so it softens. Add brown sugar, soy sauce, and water to the pot. Boil it. Then add a cornstarch slurry to thicken it. Then toss your already cooked and crispy tots in it and bake it til it caramelizes. I didn't measure though. Sorry 😹
