#mtg Prerelease tonight. It was fine, but feels shallow. Only so many times you can have your turn 3 play killed and them madness out a 4/3. With the small set size repetitive play patterns will become an issue.

My half hour dog walk was really nice, the 5 minute dog walk tagged on at the end in an Autumn downpour was much less fun. Shoes sodden. Socks soggy. Trousers soaked. All in 5 minutes :(

Eldest had a geography school outing today, looking at a river from source to mouth. We all joked beforehand she would fall in. She did fall down a hill and step in water that went over her wellies, but she did not fall in!

I am really, really annoyed at the person who left the canopy stand on the patio where I could trip over it in the dark, scraping my leg and hurting arm and shoulder where I fell. Ridiculous place to leave it. I shall be having words with myself later when I am less sore.

Rewatched Se7en at the weekend. I was at uni when it came out and was obviously blown away by it back then. Haven't watched it in...25 years i guess. But man it felt good. The lead 3 (and Paltrow) all excellent. And clearly left it grubby, bloodstained fingers over film and tv ever since.

My daughter just ghosts me, which is awkward as she lives here still.

Yeah, 4 different pieces of software downloaded, files copied across 3 different times and is think finally coped across.

Except maybe the Welsh performance in the Women's Rugby World Cup. The match against Fiji yesterday was just the nadir. Trying and battling to overcome them and coming up short. From finishing 3rd back to back in 2022 and 2023 to this.
