Rifki has some early onset cataracts forming in the middle of his eye. The Doctor didn't seem overly concerned though and said they will check again at next visit to see how it might be progressing. My poor old man 😭

The cats are at the vet this morning for a routine checkup. They really hate it though and I'm always so apologetic to them about the whole ordeal.

It's been almost a month since I received my unit and Unico emailed me this morning to ask for more pictures. I've still not seen or received my replacement unit or parts and the second and third batch of Nova Blast units have not been sent out.

My partner makes me adorable ornaments each year, usually a themed set. I'm setting up the tree tonight and these always make me so happy.

Results from today, it was really nice to just unpack all these figures. I can't say I love the S.H. Figuarts line a lot though, figma is great but man the Popup Parade figures are just so nice and easy to get displayed.

Smoking the turkey with Dukes Mayo as the binder was amazing. 21lb bird at 275 for 3 hours and then 300 for the last to crisp the skin up nice. Literally falling off the bone. Sides a plenty and a beautiful cranberry buckle my wife made.

Looks like another batch of Nova Blast are being shipped (finally). Few mutuals I'm in touch with said they got shipping notifications today. One even got an extra package, Unico has apparently shipped them someone else's stools and will now have that customer ship them to the right customer. 😂

Id appreciate it if you gave my review of the Unico Nova Blast a read. It's been a complicated, and frustrating experience, but maybe there is some real potential here.

Finally heard back from Unico about my replacement Nova Blast, they have apparently "fast shipped" my replacement, but it's not even in the US yet so they can't give me an ETA or tracking. Tomorrow is week 2. I think I'm just going to proceed with my review at this point - damages and all.

Still waiting to hear back from Unico on where my replacement cab is. It'll be two weeks this Wednesday and it's not feeling great. Still lots of folks waiting for the second batch to even ship out as well.
