Have like Jaden’s resolve to not have a bad game in this one. Weirdly not a ton of shots but kept at it and now getting some more looks and knocking them down.

Naz Reid checked in for Donte DiVincenzo with 2:54 left in the half to play the 3 next to Randle and Gobert. Wolves dominated the glass and went on a 14-2 run to end the half. This big lineup can be a weapon, especially if the other team is playing small

Very impressive half for Rudy Gobert. 9 rebounds already playing against a smaller Warriors frontcourt he should dominate.

Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo going shot for shot right now. They are powering a Wolves offense that has turned the ball over at a crazy clip. One point game at halftime which is ideal given the turnovers

Timberwolves have gone full zone so far in this one without Gobert. McDaniels roams the paint and tougher to get Wemby in 1v1 situations in the post.

In 2026, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been the best team in basketball: - 6-1 record (most wins of any team) - 1st in NET rating and Offense - 9th in defensive rating - 4th in Reb % - 1st in TS% and EFG% - 3rd in pace Since the ATL no-show, this has been a different team.

Hit the lull in the game early in the third for the Wolves offense but they righted the ship. Beringer gave them a massive boost in the energy department

Thought that was a great first stint for Joan Beringer. Could tell he was getting his feet wet, but the same willingness to challenge shots and go after boards that you saw in Iowa.

Amazing offense for that entire first frame. Jaden McDaniels knocking em down over and over. Exactly what you need with no Ant.

Wolves playing loose so far in this one. Flowing offense trying to get multiple guys in rhythm. Somewhat to be expected without Gobert, but the right way to go about it without him.

Big game tonight for the Timberwolves against the Spurs. Maybe a bit early to be thinking about tiebreakers, but the Wolves only play the Spurs 3 times this season so a win tonight would clinch the H2H. Also move up to the 3 seed with a Denver loss (Vs. Bucks)

The Ant-Rudy two man game has looked great so far in this first quarter. Ant’s reading the defense extremely well. Finding Rudy in the pocket and knocked down a three when Cavs went drop coverage.

Another thought re: Julius Randle I wonder what a fully healthy offseason does for his ability to hit the ground running. I feel like people often forget about his shoulder injury that held him out the second half of the season and playoffs with the Knicks.
