Played a #battletech campaign game today. We had to locate and destroy a Long Tom. We did find it, and took it down, but it was rough going up against an Orion with a Gauss rifle.

Today's progress on the wall. I got the first round of tape and mudding done. Not too bad, all things considered. About 4 -4.5 hours of work.

All the major pieces of sheetrock are in place. I even (successfully) cut the hole for the electrical box, and didn't electrocute myself. Tomorrow, I start taping and mudding.

I can't wait to grab a copy, read, and review it!

I've seen all 4 John Wick movies, Ballerina, and the Continental TV show. The original John Wick is still my favorite. It's the rawest, doesn't have all the "mythology" built up, and just some amazing action scenes. Plus nothing beats Vigo's reaction once he finds out who his son wronged.

I've got quite a bit done today. I should have the rest of the sheetrock mounted tomorrow, and then tape and bedding. Joy.

I'm closing in on finishing the wall I had to rebuild, and redo the sill plate on. Just added the insulation, and tomorrow I sheet rock. ONce that is done, we get back to the work of patching the floor, tiling the floor, which was the original project before we got derailed with house repair.

I was kind of hoping for more missions from the Bounty Hunter - but I guess I should be thankful there won't be any. At least I can still feed him info for more C-bills. I got a hero 'Mech out of the deal. Hope the Widow doesn't see me in it. #Battletech

Ran my 2nd annual #Battletech birthday Grinder event at our FLGS. Had a lot of folks show up, and it was a blast! In some cases, literally, as at least 2 'Mechs rode the heat curve -and fell off after cooking off their own ammo.

This one wasn't too difficult, more of a PITA in case a lancemate fucks off and ignores the target, but FINALLy got this guy. I have one achievement to go. #Battletech #mechwarrior5
