Got my first #Battletech game in yesterday, triple threat. We rolled Focal Point. I had the Thud with the AC/20. It was a fun game, the AC/20 headcapping 2 'Mechs, before his LRM Ammo went up. Ultimately it was a draw, but loads of fun. We also were reminding that taking damage underwater is bad.

I think I've figured out a new thing with DaVinci resolve, which will make editing a lot faster,and easier - though it will take some getting used to. So far I'm digging the new Multi-text feature. I'm done editing for tonight - time to try #Mechwarrior5

I've gotten the majority of the video finished, a few small details and, add some music, then it's off to render!

So my YouTube channel has been up a couple of years, I've been using Davinci Resolve to edit it the majority of it - and only just recently I discovered this little thing called an "Adjustment clip" and holy moly I feel like a ditz for not discovering/seeing it earlier.

My last day of the dayjob. Part of me is sad, mostly because I'll miss the paycheck, but at the same time, I'm not going to miss a lot of the BS. So much stress melted away when I realized I no longer had to deal with inventory, scheduling, or anything like that. Wish me luck!

Got in my last game of the year, #Battletech Alpha Strike - King of the Hill. It was going great, until it wasn't. He consistently was hitting my lights with 10s and 11s. Funniest bit - him trying to DFA my Pack Hunter with the wraith. He missed, and ended up taking the wraith out from the fall!

As done a I'm going to be with my Clan Jade Falcons, unless a Turkina somehow works its way into my case! #Battletech

I also watched #Knivesout Wake up Dead Man last night. I really liked the first two. The first 30 minutes about bored me to tears, but once Blanc arrived, it got much better. I like how it has a similar feel to the previous films, but it isn't just another carbon copy.

Its 1015 here in Texas, and I'm sweating my arse off after working outside most of the morning. I know this is not going to last, but does it have to be like 75 degrees at the end of freaking December?? Happy Holiday's Ya'll.

One of my goals, not necessarily a "New Years" type deal, is to learn more about Davinci Resolve. I've downloaded quite a few free pluggins - now I get to figure 'em out.

I have logged out and turned off my work laptop. I'll be logging in for the last time on Monday. I plan to enjoy my time away from the office and complete a lot of open projects that been open due to me being too fucking tired after the day job!

A few shots from our introductory #Battletech #alphastrike game. Clans vs IS. Ultimately, the untouched Warhawk was making moves to eliminate the remaining Archer and Locust. Everything else was either destroyed our put into Forced Withdrawal. Next time, we'll play with actual objectives.

So, I was wrong. I DO have a Timber Wolf painted up for my CJF Epsilon Galaxy. It was hanging out in a different tray hah.

As much as I have come to dislike Facebook, I do love the memories that pop up, Especially when I get to see an old friend I had laid to rest. They make me tear up, but also smile from the good memories.
