Aside from differences in professional skill sets, there's also the commercial consideration that specific narrators bring their own set of fans to the mix; there are more than a few people who found out about my books because they were (for example) @wilwheaton.net or Zachary Quinto fans first.

After helping look over the applications we got back at the #FLGS I'm a manager at I have come to one conclusion. Most people have forgotten how to properly fill out an application and it REALLY shows. I guess since most jobs take applications online now it's becoming a forgotten skill.

Now I want to point out that there is a lot of things like this in the new tiered system. Basically the thinly veiled threat of "Do this or get punished" all throughout. Trying to force stores to treat #DnD like #MtG and really pushing DnD Beyond in ways that would hurt said stores.
