I think the craziest part of a Superman movie is how I’m still thinking about Mr. Terrific. He’s such a scene stealer.

#Superman was everything I wanted it to be. Colorful, hopeful, and pure joy. Cornswet embodies the man of steel with the perfect amount of charm, charisma, and a dash of endearing cringe. James Gunn has set the bar for his DCU and it’s set high. Can’t wait to see what’s next for big blue.

My dad had a fun group of visitors outside his window today and Riss brought midge with her this weekend so obviously we had to catch up on some cuddles.

There is a man at the care center where my dad is who wasn’t allowed to swear when he was younger. So he sits in the hallway and just says “hell hell hell, damn damn damn” etc. One of my highlights in the mornings when I get here.

My dad is in hospice with a failing liver. He wasn’t always perfect and I’ve worked really hard healing from my past with him. But he’s still my dad and I’m gonna miss him. Anyway…he never smiles for photos so here is a pic of him smiling for me. He’d hate that I put this on social media lol

Rewatching Severance S1 and I genuinely can’t think of a show with a better first season.

Riss and I just wrapped this up for the first time and I can’t believe I didn’t watch it sooner. It was absolutely beautiful till the final credits. It had some really unique things with Lex, doomsday and other parts of the mythos but it was still pure Superman through and through.

Unless you’re Christian (specifically evangelical), we’re kind of missing the point. Evangelicals need to be actively anti Christian nationalism, like we need white people to be anti racism. Accomplices are needed.
