I have relatives who are Federal employees. My hubs is a retired Federal employee on a Federal pension. We both use Medicare and get Social Security. And I'm on a Texas State Pension. I feel like the Sword of Damocles is over my head.

Read an oldish anthology of Christmas-themed mystery stories and remembered how much I like Margaret Maron's Deborah Knott series. Also discovered I'd fallen behind and there were three books I haven't read. And one is Christmas-themed. Sometimes the universe just tells you what comes next.
