Saucedo continues to impress. He is one that I will be fascinated to see if he returns to the 3 Sparks in 2026. While I believe that the club will want him back, there is no doubt that there will be other suiters for the former LigaMX man.

WHAT A SAVE BY RODRIGUEZ. An incredible turn and cross to find a wide open Sebastian Saucedo. Could the finish been better by Saucedo? Maybe so, but that does not take away from the save.

Meanwhile out west, New Mexico and Oakland are giving us a banger of a match.

If AJ Paterson could play a full 28-30 matches, I seriously believe that he would be an All-USL contender. If he can keep himself healthy, he feels like the proper successor to Phanuel Kavita, whenever that time may come.

I’m really interested in taking Dawson McCartney and Peter-Lee Vassell off for Enzo Martinez and Tyler Pasher. Not many other players to take them off for, but they are also two players who have really shown positively tonight.

I still cannot get over Turnbull the RCB. It has worked incredibly well and has the potential to be something special to build around in 2026. Hopefully we will see Turnbull and Tregarthen build that partnership throughout next year.

Second Half started and only one change. Laszo off for Travis Jackson. Not entirely sure how he will slot in. Likely with McCartney moving up the pitch and Jackson to LWB.

PLV dribbles past the entirety of the Miami defense, including the goalkeeper, but chose to take on the shot from an impossible angle rather than a pass back to Shashoua. Not many options for Vassell, but can't help but wonder if the pass back was the better option.

And on the restart, The Miami sees their goal keeper sent off for DOGSO! Legion are now up a man, down a goal, facing off against the 21-year-old goalkeeper with 5 appearances this season. First appearance since 8/16, a 4-2 loss to Louisville.

In a GUTSY performance, Legion earn 3 points in Loudoun. We have learned a lot in the last two matches. Is it too late for Birmingham? Probably, but we are seeing players who absolutely deserve to come back in 2026.

It seems harsh but Zach Ryan’s foul has to be a red because Hugo was in the opposing box. It’s arguable if he was the final defender, though. Still denial of a goal scoring opportunity.

This Legion vs San Antonio match is just becoming a track meet. I’m not sure who it favors but it is highly entertaining. Pasher really is a difference maker. I really wish we got to see more of him and Shashoua on the pitch together more.

Question for people who understand football legalese: Legion signed Damus on a loan with an option to buy. Obviously transfers have to be mutually agreed upon. Does Legion need to re-negotiate with Damus or was the original loan agreement THE agreement?
