Domestic violence shelters in Arkansas are learning this week they won’t be receiving Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grants they’ve traditionally received to operate.

Arkansas’ electric utilities scored poorly on the Sierra Club’s annual report on the transition away from fossil fuels, which was released earlier this week. Some utilities, the report said, aren’t planning to build any green power at all.
