#Mathstoday I'm lucky enough to visit lots of classrooms - at today's visit, we've been thinking about and discussing why calculating with time intervals can be a tricky idea to teach. Base 10, base 60, written calculations, mental strategies, using a numberline just to name a few. @Maths Mastery

In Y7 #MathsToday we were looking at the structure of patterns to come up with general terms. Trying to wean them off their desire simply to spot patterns in the numbers. How many different ways can you count the matchsticks?
