With bioinformatics, we’re now measuring the fitnesses of millions of DNA fragments! This gets us data on whole genomes and is the first step toward big data for modeling genotype -> phenotype with AI/ML for microbial evolution. Link in comments. 🧬 + 🔢 = 📈 -> 🤖?
