sometimes I think to myself "maybe I should try mods" usually that thought dies over my (probably irrational) fear that I'm gonna break something and not be able to fix it on the rare occasion that fear doesn't do it, stuff like this is real quick to murder that idea

Vara did walk herself off, yes, and nothing short of being actually dead would have stopped her from it too many see her as a symbol of hope, and she isn't willing to drop the facade of the calm hero that always prevails lest those people start to lose that hope

Vara genuinely likes to help people, without expectation of getting anything in return so when she meets someone who is really passionate about helping others, she kinda subconsciously locks in to a "I will help you make that happen in whatever way I can" sort of mindset

ok so Vara joined Twin Adder cuz they at least said "we don't like war, but we'll defend ourselves" where the other two were much more "rah rah military" sort of hype Aurora went with Twin Adder for the same reason Yuri, on the other hand....

Vara is a dragoon she would jump over that with zero effort

for Vara, the sylphs & ananta & pixies & arkasodara were all fantastic she hasn't done a custom delivery questline she didn't like, but Zhloe is the best and she continues to support her as much as she can

probably Aurora that girl is such a disaster if she met an evil lady who was pretty enough she just might do it lol

for Vara it would be Kan-E Senna, who would stay calm, try to fix the problem herself, and also move any and all of Gridania's resources to help for Yuri... either V'kebbe The Stray or Yugiri, either of whom would immediately move to assist while activating their shadow networks to help
