I keep seeing posts about how he was a "good Christian man." He objectively was not good. He uses his platform to spread hate of marginalized groups, using Christianity as his excuse for doing so.

I got the solo! Kind of! The guys' auditions had a similar "one guy is good and loud and one is good and soft" situation, so one pair will do the solos Saturday and one pair will do it Sunday.

The neighbor kid I used to babysit in middle school turned 30 today.

Still no word on the solo. The director was going to decide after the men's solo audition last night. As I was walking out I heard him tell the men auditioning that we were both great, but he "really believed" the other woman, so that stung.

We're installing new flooring in our basement and Harry just accidentally cut his hand, so I'm just hoping he didn't drip blood anywhere. I'm too tired for a gooey Frank Cotton to pop up right now.

My boss is on vacation until next Wednesday, leaving my one coworker and I in charge of the team for a week and a half.

Okay, FINALLY watched episode 1 of #WheelOfTime season 3 and really enjoyed it! Dónal Finn kept me laughing, I love that they made the Elayne/Avi subtext TEXT, and both the action at the White Tower and the inn kept me at the edge of my seat.

Wheel of Time season 3 drops at 10 PM here, which is normally when I am getting ready for bed as a 36-year-old octogenarian, so I'll probably avoid this site until I've gotten caught up tomorrow/Friday.

HE'S HOME! He's still pretty weak and will continue PT, but he's going to try half a day of school today. An MRI showed a thickened heart wall, so they'll do another in 3 months to see if it's back to normal.

This is so sad. She was such a dynamic actor, and her roles in Harriet the Spy and Buffy the Vampire Slayer had such a big impact on me as a kid/tween. Sending so much love to her family and friends.

Connor's tube is out! He's groggy, but he's able to whisper answers when he's asked questions. He's still on meds and has more progress to make, but it's still a big step forward! The doctors determined it was the flu.

Updates on My cousin's son (from my aunt via my mom): nothing came up on the x-ray. He's improving a little, though, so they're hoping to take him off the ventilator tomorrow. It's scary not knowing the cause, but I'm glad things are getting better.
