currently working on a budgeting game for the coolmath jam (with an incredible team, i should add!). it brings me great satisfaction to be able to design games that my former students would be able to access without the barriers of assumed literacy/computational skills.

#bitsy project update: we're up to day 16! days 13-15 were fairly basic games about conversations i had while out with my dog, so for day 16 i was excited to do a game based on the hollow knight soundtrack. art and gameplay (such as it is) was fun but the music was truly a delightful challenge.

second #bitsy TIL of the day -- or maybe more like TIrealized: the tune code is based not on notes but on solfege??? this is fine w me but i wonder why they didn't go with the scale notes. (music ppl please chime in)
