If I do a search with a certain word, I see a lot of people using ethnic slurs against Venezuelans here on Bluesky. As I expected, moderation in this social media as in others is less effective in non-English language posts

It still allows you to do ethically murky things though. I was just able, as a test, to remove watermarks from an image and it would have been impossible for me to check if it was AI if I didn't knew the process behind creating it

A good use for AI, at least for me has been finding the top N articles similar to an article that I have just read. I paste the article on Chatgpt and with the web search I tell AI using thinking mode to find the top N articles using 5 different criteria depending on the article

I've been trying grokipedia and I still prefer wikipedia for the vast majority of things. Grokipedia quotes many questionable sources like "Famous birthdays dot com" or "Infowars".

The best case scenario in Venezuela is very good. A return to democracy, return of exiles and refugees, prosperity in an economy desperate for growth. The worst case scenario is truly atrocious. When the United States attention shifts elsewhere, warlords and drug lords will have a field day.
