Mixed live sound for a conference today and only one out of eight speakers knew how to hold the microphone properly, and also spoke loudly and clearly enough for me to get the best results out of it. After the event, the customer came up and told me the sound was bad ... Ain't my fault 🤷

I still can't tell why it is so wrong to only have a job to finance the things you actually want to do. And why it should be okay to pay trainees a wage that is only livable under a great amount of financial stress. Like, wake the fuck up. We're not boomers. We have lives outside of work.
