On 9th April 1917, whilst smoking a pipe in his dugout doorway, the poet and writer Edward Thomas was killed. His greatest legacy, his writings, still influence the way we perceive place and consider our place within the landscape.

âI was also wondering whether this image of the light filtering through, itâs almost a space in which your poems exist?â Great comment, brilliant collection.

Watching Edward Norton, on Colbert, talking about Walt Whitman. I like Edward Norton. Lot of people would rather he yucked it up, kept it light & breezy, but it's refreshing to see someone care about poetry. He knows it isn't popular with the masses but he talks about what he cares about regardless.
