I've been stuck on this screen after accepting an SOS quest in Monster Hunter Wilds. It's been about 10m already, and nothing changes. Guess I'll close the game to solve the problem... but why even launch it again? I keep getting booted from multiplayer sessions. What a mess...

You know, I kinda hope the teased update brings proper HDR support for the GOTY - would love to play the game again on the big screen. I also feel kinda dumb for being close to the Eiffel Tower and not taking a selfie with a beret (I did get one, tho!) 😅

People often say jet lag is the worst thing about coming back from a long trip. I say it's the whole period of walking like you've never walked before, initially masked by the excitement of being somewhere new and awesome, that crashes down as a wave of pain when you're back to reality.

Fortnite's KPDH event is odd. There's Huntr/x skins, posters in the map (a quest to find the "couch"!), and snippets of the songs when getting a weapon or during the monster waves mode. But no Saja Boys, no Golden/What It Sounds Like outifts, no music tracks for Festival? 🤔

Installed Monster Hunter Wilds again and tried to play some new quests with them. Key word: TRIED. Got disconnected from the lobby every single time. Sometimes after a few seconds, sometimes a bit more, but never got to play normally. *sigh*

Update on the Xbox Game Pass situation: On my PC, it shows that my plan is now $9,99/month. That's $2 more per month, or a 25% increase. It is quite a markup, but considering the mileage I get from the service, I plan to keep it until it becomes unmanageable.

Even though I am checking from my phone and local network, I want to wait until I am on my PC and check. If @pcgamepass.xbox.com truly went from $8 to $16.5 (EC), it's over. There's no way an over 100% price increase is even remotely acceptable.

Been talking about this trend for years when it comes to games spending. Why are there premium gamepads, $149 collector's editions, Pro consoles and general rising prices? Because the price-insensitive, affluent players are the ones doing more of the spending as everyone else shifts more to f2p.

I am *very* curious what PC Game Pass will cost for us now. Currently, it's $8 (iirc). I can't check right now due to location - it shows me France's price (with the increase). Going from $8 to $16+ would be absurd...

I get all the outside economics of it all, inflation, cost of development, etc. But we are scary close, if not there already, to where gaming is a luxury hobby and not a casual one. It's too expensive now. When you have to decide between food and gaming, that's gone too far.

I hunger for the FFTR... gotta be patient, still a few more days in Europe. Today: Paris.
