In other news, I am close to finishing Hollow Knight - beyond the base "bad" ending. Vaguely: I visited a white place, got the second half of a white thing. Need to take that to a dark place to make it black, and THEN fight the final boss again for a different outcome.

The hurdles I had to go through to get this video done... Long story short, I had to OBS record me watching the VOD at 720p to get a video that wasn't a slideshow. I spliced that with the 1080p recording in the parts it didn't look like a PowerPoint presentation 😣 Rendering final atm.

Apparently it's caused by "variable frame rate", likely a result of gpu saturation during the stream. I need to try a program called Handbrake to chage the video to constant frame rate to fix it.

Odd. Watching the VOD on Twitch, things look fine, but even after downloading the VOD, when opened as a local file, the video is choppy only in certain areas. Anyone ever had a similar issue? Know a fix?

Bit bummed... the recording has a bunch of areas where I get the recording couldn't keep up, so the framerate went to hell. The stream however, despite the compression, seems to have held better. I'm gonna have to mix video qualities :(

Destiny is like a tower constantly building up, as it keeps removing the previous floors (DCV). New players can't scale the tower, and those on the top see it crumbling below them. There's no longer a foundation (early game, story and progression).

I feel like this Black Friday hasn't been particularly good offers-wise, tbh. The era of crazy discounts seems to be over. Waiting for Steam's winter sale to see if things improve.

Assuming what we read here and there is true, he's kinda right, with an asterisk: Most if not all BIG studios are using (or will use) AI, but indies are more likely to continue to be handcrafted. Reminds me of when games started using "no microtransactions!" as a selling point 🙃
