Game of the Year 2025! Honorable mention: "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" I played through the first before I started KC:D 2, and it's sheer scale meant I never got all the way through! But the setting is so well realized, if KC:D 2 is like the first, it would have been by GotY. I plan to return!

It's been a week and all I think about is going back to see Sinners again while its still on the big screen.

"Sinners" is a masterpiece celebration of music and culture, and how it reflects identity and experience. Family. History. The whole thing is just incredible... ... and wrapped in a 2hr popcorn vampire movie! Which makes us 2-for-2 for incredible, dark, passion filled vampire movies in 2025.

So much this! I rarely watch TV or movies with a phone in my hand, and get weirdly bothered when other people do. The actual cinema is peak story immersion!

The mark of a good video game, regardless of anything else, is whether I'm thinking about wanting to play it when I'm not. ... though the combat can be frustrating, the save system is punishing, and lockpicking feels nigh impossible... this is currently the case with "Kingdom Come: Deliverance"
