It's Akira Toriyama's birthday today, the main artist of Chrono Trigger. And this is the final game I need to beat to completely clear my DS section of backlog games. Figured I couldn't find a better time to start this. 💜

It took me 50 hours, but I've beaten Okami for the first time! Good shit, honestly. Minus a few story gripes and brush techniques I don't like using, this game is awesome, man. Please please PLEASE play this when you get the chance. It's not a super hard game and it's wonderful to play through.

Still in an FF mood, so I've begun Final Fantasy 6 now. thoughts so far: Terra needs a hug. Or two. Or twenty. Took a minute to learn Sabin's Blitz ability, but once I did he became my favorite character to use. On that note, I suplexed the Phantom Train today. Yes, it was worth it.

After repeatedly yapping about Final Fantasy V, I've finally beaten the game. Hot take, out of all the one's I've played, this is my favorite FF so far. Higher than VII, even. Fight me >:3 Since this was done on the GBA version, I'll see how far I get on bonus content before I fully move on.

I think I'm gonna play every Yakuza game up until Like a Dragon: Gaiden. It absolutely blows that RGG kinda sucks now, and it’s taught me that unless it's a series I absolutely love to death, it's probably for the best that I don't play all the games it has to offer.
