Reasons why Line 6 is so slow compared to it's shuttle bus: (1/4) The lack of TSP with signal patterns timed for left turning cars → cars going straight → finally transit signal clearing! Basically this immediately gives the shuttle buses the head start regardless.

Alright, let's compare the Line 6 shuttle bus that follows most of the LRT route! Eastbound travel time from Humbert College to Finch West: 30:O7 Or 21kph/13mph average THAT'S 7KPH ON AVERAGE FASTER THAN THE LRT 😭😭

All the Line 5 vehicles I have been on today has been packed packed PACKED. Which is good! But probably doesn't help that the trainsets are made up in sets of 2 and not 3 which u think is severely hurting throughput.

Since I was last in the Twin Cities they have opened up two BRT lines! So I have now ridden both of them! The E Line from Hennepin & 5th to Uptown Transit Station. And the B Line from Lake & Hennepin to Rice Park Station.
