Little Stanley was put down this morning. He was a rescue dog in SC and came over when the kids came back to live. He's got to be 15 at least and had a good life, certainly better than the one he might have had. We were looking after him for the weekend. He's been a grand chap. Sleep well mate.

Just seen on Breakfast News a paperboy gets £5 Mon-Fri and £8 Sat and Sun =£41 pw. A far cry from 10p a morning with a 5p bonus if I did Mon-Sat in the early 70's.
