I was already a fan of their brushes, green stuff, and paint, but @thearmypainter.bsky.social now has a client for life. They canceled their collaboration with Lychee slicer since their inclusion of generative AI, and have stated it clearly. They have my trust and respect!

On October 21st Lychee Slicer announced they are now selling AI Generated 3D models in an attempt to take money away from real artists. The AI generator is trained on on real models from real artists. Help us boycott and spread awareness.

I don't tend to post things like this, but today the (formerly) most popular 3D print slicer decided to add Generative AI to their product. The reaction from the community they have grown over the years has been loud and clear. Not that it matters. Find a better slicer. ❤️

Disgaea Etna ZBrush Sculpt Process: 95% complete! I sculpted the hair, made some small changes to the expression, and finalized the clothing. I then modeled the Prinny dood. Now that he's in place, we can finish Etna's right hand and tail. ❤️

She got wings and twintails! I prefer to sculpt the face neutrally towards the end of the process, then move the head in place and adapt the expression to try and match the personality of the subject. Etna gets to be the smug brat we know her as 😈 We're almost done! 💜
