My PC crashes or bluescreens often so I always save 2 versions of any of my drawing files. The one time I don't, it crashed and I lost all the layer information from the recent piece . . . 😭 The whole file is black. Im gonna have to paint on one layer from the most recent jpg saved . . .

Its almost a week after losing my cat and it still feels surreal to walk around the house to see that she's not around anymore. She really left this world... I also changed my desktop wallpaper to a picture of her and I feel a twinge of what it felt like to come home to see her. It makes me happy.

I keep getting stuff that reminds me of my cat and putting it in my room.. It makes me feel closer to her while I work.

Cat update: Took her to the vet and they advised to syringe-feed her every day until she gets her appetite back up with some medicine... She's acting so strange today. She lost most of the strength in her limbs and she's crying out like something's happening to her. Its hard to see her like this

Cat update : Her appetite went down again. Abysmal today. She hadn't eaten since the afternoon so we had to syringe feed her at night till I can get her to the vet again tomorrow. I think I'm giving up for tonight. I'm just so upset at her not eating even though I know it's not her fault. 😞

Cat update: She lost that loose tooth she's had for 2 months yesterday and her appetite has improved DRASTICALLY 😭💜 All this time I guess she was just really uncomfortable!

I really hope this FIP medicine works... The swelling in her belly has reduced quite significantly since starting the medication. What used to be a firm bump at her stomach is now just a saggy bump. However, her appetite has been on and off... She'll eat sometimes and then refuse at others..

Another day of sun

It was FIP. She has to eat a pill for 84 days. The new vet I went to is very confused why the previous 3 vets didn't rule it out because the symptoms were very obvious to him. I don't know if I should feel disappointed or what... At least we know the cause of the fluid. Will update again.

Thank you to everyone who shared and to those that donated. I just woke up and found the goal was reached in just 2 hours. I'm extremely grateful from the bottom of my heart.

Im glad I took her. It was bloated, and it was because she now has something called congestive heart failure (CHF) where the heart can't pump enough blood her body needs, leading to fluid buildup. She had it drained the other day, but they need to find the cause to find the correct medicine to give.

My cat's eyes have gotten better!!!!! Its been responding to light again 😭😭 She still cant really see and coordinate but hopefully this means continued improvement!! I am going to take her to the vet again tomorrow because her stomach looks strangely bloated... Im not taking any more risks.

Im gonna take my cat to another vet, she just looks so not okay sometimes and I want someone to explain why and do something about it. I tell her current vet that my cat could have mites because she scratches a lot, she checks and says there's no mites but offers no other explanation.

Bad news : Blood test result not great.. 😔 Her levels went slightly higher so the vet is introducing a new medicine, some phosphorus binders. Hopefully with more daily subcutting and the new medicine, her levels will stabilize.
