I made a comment about my grief over my cat on this song on YouTube (that was clearly also about loss), and I got my first nasty comment invalidating my sadness about her, just because she was a cat. It's a bit disheartening every time I find out the world can be so nasty and uncaring of others.

I miss my sweet kitty. I heard her meow while I was brushing my teeth the other day, it was so strange how familiar the sound was that I didn't question it until I was done brushing. I went out of the bathroom to check what she wanted and then remembered she's not here. I hope she comes again.

Its almost a week after losing my cat and it still feels surreal to walk around the house to see that she's not around anymore. She really left this world... I also changed my desktop wallpaper to a picture of her and I feel a twinge of what it felt like to come home to see her. It makes me happy.

I keep getting stuff that reminds me of my cat and putting it in my room.. It makes me feel closer to her while I work.

I'm going to be taking a break from social media for a few days. My cat is going through the process of passing away and I would like to be present with her till it happens.

Cat update: Took her to the vet and they advised to syringe-feed her every day until she gets her appetite back up with some medicine... She's acting so strange today. She lost most of the strength in her limbs and she's crying out like something's happening to her. Its hard to see her like this
