because the fear of someone viewing their interests or art and thinking it's "cringe" can be avoided if they're the one to say it first. it just opens up more opportunities for people to feel they can pick on you be proud of yourself. ignore people who hate you regardless. smile until it's genuine

stop making fun of yourself for things you did enjoy that truly did no harm. i don't want to hear anymore people point and laugh at old furry art etc i see entire younger art communities trying to show off art they make NOW and immediately go "this is cringe" and pretend to hate what they made

please please be more passionate about what you like and create. i cannot count how many times i have seen people reflect on old art they made or interests they had and call it "cringe" so they can make fun of themselves and hope that instead of being laughed at, they can laugh with everyone.

i think I will open up more slots for my chibis next month as my only public comms.. to me it’s not really about the chibi it’s about drawing a background. im so crazy about backgrounds…. its just low stakes anatomy awesome bg practice
