Use of force is supposed to be Law enforcement’s last resort, not be first. For all the talk from the right about protecting American’s from the dangerous “illegals,” the only one who’s lost their life in all of this “enforcement” is an American citizen.

On January 6, 2021, 147 Republicans voted against certifying a free & fair election. That was after a violent mob stormed the US Capitol. Why anyone would think those same Republicans would choose now to “stand up to Trump” over a piece of legislation is beyond me.
