Trying to paint people who have done wrong and hurtful things as unfixable demons who can only atone for their transgressions by dying is an incredibly unhelpful and noxious way to think. They are not owed your forgiveness, but you are not entitled to them being permanently ostracized.

People are all entirely capable of making conscious or unconscious decisions to do awful things that hurt others, INCLUDING YOU, and trying to use your victimhood to absolve yourself of that, to wall off that possibility, will only hold you back when someone attempts to confront you.

I think one of the core things, as an abuse survivor, that I have internalized about TADC and the hellaverse and other pieces of media is that abusers are people. So many people talk about "Oh they're trying to humanize the abuser-" Yeah...because 'abusers' are humans...
