Called 'After the Storm', Dad originally painted this scene of Thornwick Bay (plus mermaids) in 2013, when he was 75. He never felt the original was finished ('a painting is never completed, merely abandoned') until he added my youngest daughters a couple of years ago, following one of our visits.
