I have this natural inclination that when someone says I can't do something to want to say "watch me" unless of course I don't want to do said thing then I want to say, "your opinion of me is none of my business."

When someone uses "woke" as a perogative, ask them to define the term When someone refers to DEI as something to be fixed, ask them what part of diversity, equity, including they find objectionable. Make them say the quiet part outloud.

Sentry Kindness. Gentleness. Empathy. These things are fires shining in the forest night. They must be tended, but in tending them we are illuminated. We become a target for things that thrive in darkness. So, as ever, love is risk. And, as ever, worth the danger.

Usually my anxiety goes & I know it's usually for something that isn't a state of reality. This year, my anxiety goes & I have to tell myself it's valid bc I live in the US and I'm aware of all the horrors persisting to my loved ones, neighbors, community members... Breathe in, breathe out.

Look at who Trump and team are “othering”. They’re going after the disabled, the immigrants, people of colour, the LGBTQ+ community AND women. When you allow fascism, it doesn’t stop with one group. Nazi’s started with disabled people. They tested their policies on us. Please don’t forget that.
