Got my PiShock today and it was full of anxiety and excitement.

Today I worked on implementing a dash mechanic so that the player can move through bullets or get a swift burst of speed to navigate. I was very dumb and frustrated with myself until I realized that I was looking at the wrong origin point of the player.

No stream today. Tummy hurt and I realized that I wouldn't have anything to draw that could be streamed on Twitch.

Today, I finally got the bullet targeting to work, and had it delete on collision. Thank you @meus.bsky.social and @qwarq.io for the consultations. You two are like, modern day witches.

I figured out how to change the image being changed from a single color to an image! With the proper coding, I can create multiple transitions that change throughout the game.

Spent an hour or two setting up a transition effect between cutscenes and gameplay! Still using plug-ins, but it's great that I was able to connect two different plug-ins so seamlessly.
