I've been spending more time over on that stringy platform, but it's starting to show signs of the former birdy platform, so I'm back here checking in on the azure atmosphere. What's new?

Settle a debate: You arrive at a 4-way stop at the exact same time as an oncoming car. One of you wants to go straight and the other wants to turn left. Who goes first?

When you're young and you over-exert yourself playing basketball or something, you take a rest day and you feel better. But, when you're old and you over-exert yourself trying to bring the groceries in from the car in a single trip, you get no rest days and you just hurt now. Adulthood is overrated.

Recommendations for a reasonably family-friendly Bollywood movie that's available to stream on Netflix, Disney+, etc.? This might go without saying, but we want one that's decidedly heavy on the dancing. ๐ Old, new, doesn't matter.

"Registered Liberals have until March 9 at 3 p.m. ET to cast their vote with the expectation that the new Liberal Party of Canada leader will be announced later that day." That's this Sunday, FYI.

I'm the parent at school pickup who is simultaneously thinking, "Why is no one talking to me?" and "Please, no one talk to me" while doomscrolling on my phone.

There are two kinds of people in this world. People who have (or strive for) inbox zero, and people with five-digit (or more!) unread emails, and never the twain shall meet.

PSA: Desert and dessert are not the same word. And confusingly, despite the pronunciation, the phrase is just deserts, not just desserts.

I normally don't get the jitters from drinking coffee, but I do when drinking Vietnamese iced coffee (cร phรช sแปฏa ฤรก). Is it the sugar in the condensed milk, maybe? I don't think the coffee itself is any stronger than conventional espresso.

Eggs and toilet paper used to be so cheap that children would literally throw them at people's houses. Thanks, complex international trade economics and late-stage capitalism.

When you get a work-related email with "feedback" (or similar) in the subject line, do you immediately assume it's "constructive" (I hesitate to use the word "negative" but you know what I mean), some form of praise, or a more neutral, logistical thing?

I mean, I obviously understand why paid parking has to exist, but I *really* dislike paying for parking. This coming from the guy who has no real problem with $5 donuts. I'd rather pay $5 for a donut (with free parking) than $3 for parking to get a $1 donut.
