I’ve been in recovery mode today. I got back from Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo yesterday and it was amazing. The people running the Con truly made me feel like a special guest. I demo’d our @darkspacerpg.bsky.social and the response was overwhelmingly positive. A few folks even picked up a copy.

*sigh* When someone you respect and care about says to me, “A person’s politics don’t matter to me.” It shows me such a level of privilege that I’m blown away. I live in the South. I see firsthand how right wing politics are harming people I love and care for. Yes, politics does matter.

It would be almost laughable if it weren’t so heart wrenching when you find out you have a FB “friend” recommendation who likes so many of the same things you do and they’re a pro-Trump, let’s recount the 2020 election person.

That so many people purposefully and willfully ignored or denied all the warnings from journalists and academics about Project 2025 will never cease to amaze. Nor will their response: "What? There people? But I didn't vote for that!"

I really can’t grasp the kerfuffle over a blurb in the book “50 Years of D&D.” It doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve defended Dungeons & Dragons and its creators for decades against slander and misrepresentation.
