22 Jun 2026 | As part of the 2026 Algeria–Russia military cooperation program, a Russian Northern Fleet detachment has arrived at the Port of Oran for a four-day port call. The deployment includes the frigate Admiral of the Fleet Kasatonov and the medium tanker Akademik Pashin.

Baltic Leader left Oran at 19:00 UTC on the 14th and her speed appears to have returned to normal. On the 15th, at 15:00 UTC, she arrived in Algiers. This is the first time a cargo ship (ex. Syrian Express) has called at two Algerian ports.

Another cargo is arriving for the MED or INDIA. If the absence of an escort is confirmed, the cargo may be less sensitive. The navigation seems a bit abnormal, and I wouldn't want to think it's a technical failure; we'll see later.

Just catching up on things. Appears that a HMCG King Air (G-HMGF) orbited around the area recorded by @te3ej.bsky.social for around 90 minutes.

The Russian Navy’s Dubna-class oiler Pechenga was reported at 08.9N, 108.4E at 1802 UTC on June 10, heading southwest at 11–15 knots (via @te3ej). Based on the last known position of the Andrey Stepanov, Pechenga appears to be heading in its direction, possibly for a rendezvous.

Russian Navy Amur-class PM-82 has once again returned to the same rendezvous point with Grigorovich (51.8N, 02.1E). From an OSINT perspective, the repeated use of the same meeting location is noteworthy. Recurring rendezvous points can make vessel activity more predictable and easier to track.

The Russian fishing vessel ALDAN - 9231444 was last reported near the Indian. It is heading to MMK, Russia. Short stop of Galle Sri Lanka most likely performed a crewchange.

Crude oil tanker AZORIN, flagged to Cameroon, departed Primorsk Anchorage, Russia on May 16 and is currently transiting the English Channel bound for Singapore. Previous routing from Bur Ibrahim, Egypt to the Baltic passed north of Great Britain before the vessel headed south again through the Chan.
