Found it. The non-disparagement clause in 2K's employment contract from 2020. The whole thing was the most draconian read and the reason I pulled out of an interview (this was sent prior to a Zoom meet).

The Future Class was created in 2020 when a lot of companies responded to online critiques and broader social justice movements with DEI initiatives. Hard not to read part of the subtext here as the TGAs, like many other brands, trying to distance itself from "woke."

What gags me is that when we present our games to the world, we have to pretend that they have come from the ether. That they just shockingly appeared, and that it wasn't the sum of a lot of significant human effort; a slog against tall odds. It's very hard to be coy and cute about all that. 💅

I won't be going to this next GDC for the first time in over a decade, due solely to the fact that every year I crash out spectacularly. It is high pressure, high stress. There are so many valid reasons to avoid the US, but I am conscious of, and silently judging people who rag on SF endlessly.
