Should I be working on the tentacle tray? Yes, yes I should but I’m grumpy with it so I’m working on Hecate. This was an illustration I purchased years ago (I think it’s free now) and wanted to use again because I like it so much. I’m not sure exactly where I’m going with this, it’s an adventure.

everyone's heard of a toadstool, but how often have you seen a stooltoad? Our lifesized/giant (depending on if you're a human or a 28mm miniature) toad, Kenneth, comes with alternate open and closed mouth pieces so you can have him schlorping or sitting smug under his agaric hat.

I loved this last night, but seeing him doing it in the original version, to adults, in a rousing march situation, just reminds me 1) how extraordinary this is and 2) how extraordinary Sesame Street always has been for bringing the world to children on their level
